I'm Marie Belote: evidential medium, spiritual teacher, and one of only twelve people in the world personally authorized to teach by the late Mavis Pittilla. For more than two decades, I've served as a bridge between Spirit and those who grieve, seek, or are called to develop their own gifts. My work is grounded in evidence, anchored in soul, and held in deep reverence for the truth that love does not die.

This work is only as trustworthy as the hands that shaped it.

My foundation in evidential mediumship was shaped by two of the most respected figures in the Spiritualist tradition: Mavis Pittilla and Jean Else. I trained directly under their guidance and furthered that work at the Arthur Findlay College in the United Kingdom — the world's foremost center for the advancement of psychic science and mediumship.

Among a small circle of mediums chosen by Mavis herself, I completed her Authorized Teacher Program — carrying forward her exacting standards of evidence, ethics, and self-awareness. To hold that trust is not something I take lightly; it is the foundation everything else is built upon.

That lineage continues in active service today. I mentor students through the Evidential Mediumship Academy on The Shift Network, and contribute to the Mavis Pittilla Legacy Program at MavisPittilla.com — both dedicated to upholding the excellence, integrity, and depth of teaching that Mavis embodied.
